Elias Gonzalez
Founder
Elias founded Bright Light to help students take ownership of their education. Born in El Salvador and raised in the United States as a DREAMer, Elias never believed that higher education was meant to benefit immigrants like him. However, that all changed when his father instilled a new dream: to attend an Ivy League university. After being accepted to 11 of the most prestigious colleges in the country, he went on to graduate from Yale University with a B.A. in History. He built the company to focus on individual assistance and coaching, that way students feel understood and can flourish in a way that highlights their uniqueness rather than suppressing it.
He specializes in standardized test prep, academic advising, and college counseling. In his spare time, he loves watching soccer, playing basketball, and reading theological and philosophical texts. He and his beautiful wife live in Washington, D.C.
Specialties: English, History, Math, Social Studies, SAT/ACT prep, College Application Counseling, Study Skills
